Mara Leisure Camp, Talek

Set in what is considered Kenya’s prime wildlife area, Mara Leisure Camp is located along the Talek River, at the confluence of the Masai Mara’s four wildlife viewing areas, on the northern boundary of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

This is one of the most spectacular locations in the entire Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Mara Leisure Camp is the only camp with a swimming pool in the area. So, in between the wildlife activities, you can relax and take a swim in the pool as you sip a cocktail from the barman’s selection.

The restaurant offers excellent cuisine from either the buffet or the set menu depending on the number of guests. The chef is always on hand to cater for any dietary requirements. A collection of wines is available from the cellar.

There’s also a business centre located by the reception area for those wishing to keep up with family and friends, check email or post photos.

What’s more, you can take some memories home. The gift shop has a variety of locally made Masai souvenirs as well as some interesting items with the camp’s logo for a reminder of the best place that you have been. It also stocks most travel essentials.
